Bragibytes is the public notebook of Sam Bragge. I spend most of my time directing AI models and agents to build production software.

This site is my public notebook on what it actually looks like to build real software when your primary interface is no longer the editor.

Currently

I'm deep in the transition from "I write the code" to "I design the system and steer the intelligence that writes most of it." I'm documenting the process in real time because the map is still being drawn.

Rust Mastery

Deep expertise in Rust for systems, web, and performance-critical applications. Key areas of mastery:

• Ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, and the type system
• Async programming with Tokio and the async ecosystem
• WebAssembly for high-performance browser applications (wasm-bindgen, web-sys)
• Web frameworks (Axum) and high-performance server development
• Macros, traits, generics, and zero-cost abstractions
• Concurrency, parallelism (Rayon, crossbeam), and memory safety
• FFI, unsafe Rust, and systems-level integration
• Cargo workspaces, testing strategies, and production deployment (Docker, Railway)

I use Rust both for backend services and for client-side WASM experiences while directing AI to accelerate development.
